Come enjoy a weekend of camping! Or, if you prefer, just come for the Saturday evening bonfire!
Camping: We have a group area, which is basically a field surrounded by trees. There is running water, but no showers or electricity. Bring your own tents, food, etc. there are fire rings for cooking and picnic tables.
Bonfire: We will light the fire about dusk. We will provide the hot dogs, s’mores supplies, and hot chocolate, as well as the firewood and plates, utensils, etc. If you are coming for just the bonfire or didn’t camp on Friday night, please bring a dish to share. A blanket, lanterns, and a flashlight are good ideas too. Don’t forget to bring whatever instrument you play for some bonfire jamming.
When you sign up, you will be asked if you are camping or just coming for the bonfire.
Parking: We are in group camp area one, which is just past the first parking lot you come to. Just follow the signs into group camp area 1 and you can park on the grass off to the right – there is plenty of room to park. If you arrive after dark please be cautious of little kids running around and smaller fire rings that may be in the grass. When you arrive, only one half of the gate will be open, so ignore the sign on the gate that says Do Not Enter.
COME OUT AS EARLY AS YOU LIKE AND ENJOY THE PARK WITH THE CAMPERS.
Along with the bonfire, we will have music, trail walks, crafts, and games. The crafts will be picture frames to paint, art supplies for painting or leaf impressions, and fall masquerade masks.
